John 3:20-21
The New Birth
 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

 Stand Fast

13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9-10
The Chosen Stone and His Chosen People
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

We need to shine bright for our Lord! His son, Jesus Christ, sacrificed his all for us, for our redemption as His Father watched! This is what gives us worth, Jesus' life which was sacrificed for us and in turn we need to shine bright for our Lord. We need to glorify the Lord, rejoice in Him for He has done mighty and great things for us. We are the children of God in a world of darkness and we need to minister His word and shine bright for Him. God has entrusted us to  be the shining light for His son, Jesus Christ! Let's not forget to practice peace as Jesus Christ is peace. Start each new day with our Lord and pray. With this you will practice peace and when unrest or discouragement is at your door you will not be easily upset as you will have the armor of God on.

Remember to keep your light shining in the name of the Lord and live peacefully with each other. God bless you!

New King James Version

Psalm 91

"Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
         Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
         My God, in Him I will trust.”

 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
         And from the perilous pestilence.
 4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
         And under His wings you shall take refuge;
         His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
         Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
         Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

 7 A thousand may fall at your side,
         And ten thousand at your right hand;
         But it shall not come near you.
 8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
         And see the reward of the wicked.

 9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
         Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
 10 No evil shall befall you,
         Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
         To keep you in all your ways.
 12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
         Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
         The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
         I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
         I will be with him in trouble;
         I will deliver him and honor him.
 16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”"

Where is your dwelling place? Is it with God? Are you resting in the shadow of the Almighty?

We all need to look at ourselves and ask these questions. We need to have faith in God and make Him our constant shield. Read about the unchanging promises He has made us if we choose to follow Him.

May God bless you and your family's
